The Project consists of upgrading the existing water-main lines in various districts of Riyadh by construction of new water lines and necessary connections (interface) to 9 wells on the main line. The pipes specified are Ductile Iron 16 bars, internally cement lined and externally coated with bituminous paint & P.E. Sleeve. There are about 86 valve chambers with Butterfly valves, 123 Air valves & Wash out valve chambers on the pipeline.

Other related works includes relocation of electrical & telephone cables (total 400 m), reinstatement of asphalt (total 80,970 m), etc. The scope of pipelines includes (D.I. pipeline 150 mm dia. 69.425 m, 300 mm dia. 33.81 km., 400 mm dia. 21.85 km., 600 mm dia. 13 km, and 800 mm dia. 19.60 km.).
