Design and build of the Mbwemkulu – Mingoyo Road (95 km).

Project comprises of: (a) Road: Length: 95 km; Width: 6.5 meters double seal surfacing with 1.5 m gravel shoulders each side total 9.5 m.

Major Quantities:

Cut: 1,700,000 m3; Fill: 1,200,000 m3; Double Seal: 700,000 m2; 150 mm CRS base course: 110,000 m3; 250 mm stabilized sub-base: 275,000 m3; Upper Subgrade: 185,000 m3; Lower Sub-grade:- 195,000 m3. (b) 27 no. Bridges – Width: 9.8 m; Total length: 1,100 m; (c) 15 no. Major Culverts – Width: 12 m; Total length: 137 m; and (d) 227 no. Minor Culverts.
